The ThinkPad T480s has an optional fingerprint reader (not included in all models, check your equipment settings before purchase) with on-chip fingerprint matches (Match-on-Chip), antispoofing technology that authenticates login credentials and protects your data, y ThinkShutter (only available for HD720p webcam option), a webcam cover that you can open and close. This slim but full 14 ”laptop also has an optional integrated global LTE-A function (not included in all models) that keeps you connected around the world, with or without wifi.

With higher performance and much higher speed than its predecessor, the new up to 8th generation Intel® Core processor™ i7 (this processor option is the maximum possible but is not available on all models, check your equipment settings before purchase) is designed to take your productivity to another level. Backed by the highest efficiency and speed of DDR4 memory (until 24 GB, not available on all models), the T480s gives you the power of a desktop PC and the freedom of a portable laptop.
There is no light? Do not be nervous.
When it's fully charged, the T480s has a battery that lasts up to 15,6 hours (battery life varies according to use). When it runs out of battery, The laptop's quick charge function allows you to charge the 80 % of capacity in just one hour. So you can charge the battery during a lunch or meeting and have it ready to work until 12 hours, more than enough to continue the rest of the day.
Where the form meets the function
Inspired by our ThinkPad customers, The latest T series machines have a USB-C docking connector (docking is not included) on the side instead of below, allowing the T480s to barely measure 18.45 mm thick and barely weigh 1.31 kg. It also has a variety of convenient ports, including ultrafast Intel® Thunderbolt™ 3. Also, in case you need to work when you go from one side to another or in places with low light, its renowned ThinkPad ergonomic keyboard has a convenient optional backlight (not included in all models).

Practical and safe
Thanks to Windows Hello, an optional touch fingerprint reader (not included in all models) and the infrared camera (IR) also optional (not included in all models), you can save time by logging in with just a finger or a smile. If not, standard webcam comes with ThinkShutter (only available for HD720p webcam), a physical cover that you can slide open when you want to use the camera and close it when you're done.
